Against Homophobia

Civil.ge - In what appeared to be probably the first-ever outdoor gay-related event in Georgia, few dozen of people gathered in Tbilisi's old town to commemorate International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia, marked on May 17. The event was organized by one of the few Georgian LGBT rights group, Association Inclusive. Homosexuality, which was decriminalized in Georgia in 2000, is generally regarded as “immoral” and remains a taboo topic and closeted in Georgia.
